I was lucky to become a member of the Always be building show with hosts @Ffchalmers And @Ffdelly To be part of a Dynasty Fantasy Football Startup Mock Draft. This was not just a trial version, because it included a more in -depth approach to player value, schedule construction and consideration for transactions during the design. The first episode included rounds one to three, but stay informed for the rest of the series about the rest of the Dynasty Mock Draft!
For reference, the format includes: SuperFlex – PPR – Tight End Premium (.5) – 3 Flex Spots
1.07 – Joe Burrow (QB – Eating)
I am in the seventh choice and in normal circumstances I would not consider a quarterback because of the top options that have already been selected for me. Today, however, my happy Mock Draft Day is. Of Ja’arrr Chase And Sesam Robinson Also for me, I was able to take a top-five quarterback in Joe Burrow.
What Burrow is missing from upside down compared to his fellow top-five Dynasty Quarterbacks, he makes more than good in his elite-passing capacity. Burrow led the NFL in fitting attempts, completion, passing yards and passing touchdowns, while completing a stunning 70.6% of his passes. And after injuries in the injuries 2023, Burrow achieved his best fantasy season, 22.5 points per match.
The stars are connected to Burrow to lead the NFL again in most, if not all, passing categories in 2025. The Bengal return one of the best Pass-Catch duos in the NFL with Chase and T -Shiggins. And it is expected that Burrow will throw a lot with a Cincinnati defense that will probably be back to the bottom third in the NFL. So to get a Quarterback from Burrow’s Caliber with the seventh choice was just too much to leave.
2.06 – Puka Nacua (WR – LAR)
Since this is a superflex format, consideration is always given early for a second quarterback. However, because I selected Burrow during the seventh pick, only two quarterbacks have gone from the board: Drake Maye And Patrick Mahomes. This leaves many quarterbacks to the next round, with a lot of concern about a steep drop-off in fantasy value. This leads me to a somewhat polarizing player in Puka Nacua.
The recipient of the Rams burst on stage in 2024 and immediately filled the emptiness of the former Triple Crown winner Cooper Coup. And despite various injuries in the second half of his Rookie season, Nacua did not miss a competition. His second-year season continued his fantasy scension, with a top three finish in fantasy points per game, while he also missed five games due to injury and sitting outside of the last week of the season.
As we start 2025, Nacua is the clear number one option in Los Angeles, but he has some uncertainty around him. The lifetime of Matthew Stafford‘s career and the touchdowns have been handed over Davante Adams Can hinder Nacua’s success of 2025. But for me, halfway through the second round I get enormous value on a player whose organization I trust to best position Nacua.

I was again surprised to see only two quarterbacks selected since my second round selection, Caleb Williams And Bo Nix. But each of the must-have running backs, broad recipients and tight ends have already been drawn up. At the moment it is wise to remember the structure of the competition, superflex and not to become too cute. Justin Herbert is it!
There is a comfort to know that my starting quarterback and superflex positions are arranged by round three with two players who are located, but still have young people by their side. Herbert comes year two within Jim Harbaugh, and there is a lot to be found. Despite the classic Run-Centric character of a Harbaugh-led attack, Herbert has a career the best in passing yards per attempt. The running game enabled Herbert to push the ball down with his rocket arm, and then Rookie Ladd McConkey was a big help with that effort.
The chargers have continued to improve on the attacking side of the ball, including what should again be a top half-offensive line. Not to mention are the additions made to the players. Drawing up Omarion Hampton” Tre Harrisand late-round selection Keandre Lambert-Smith Must do wonders for Herbert and his growth in year six and after that. Taking Herbert here gives me flexibility to develop the remaining positions, because I can wait to fill in my quarterback depth.
