Las Vegas – Christopher Alvidrez visualized visualizing in the UFC before he even fought the Contender Series this week.
“I didn’t care how big the guy was, how scary he looked, it didn’t matter,” said Alvidrez (7-1) media, including Cageside Press on the UFC Apex on Tuesday, after winning a UFC contract. ‘I had something like’ I am already in the UFC. ‘I have so many messages, support systems, the signs I saw, just looking around – I would see so many signs.
The fighter at the nickname ‘The Newborn’ is now one of the latest UFC athletes, after securing a violent finish of Eliezer Kubanza who saw bumps flying and even a knee flying. The end came in a round.
Alvidrez never doubted that a contract came on its way after that stopping. “Come on, you’ve seen that against that guy? If I don’t get a contract, I will bring everyone in this arena,” he said laughing.
Christopher Alvidrez now wants to work immediately to work and plans to make its way to the Welterweight Division.
“They don’t really have that many Americans, I feel, American top ten -hunters, and I want to get that ranking as quickly as possible as I can. Get out as many big strikers as I need to solidify my place and start making that big money. Because I feed a lot of mouth.
Alvidrez, who made the switch to Miami to promote his career, is now looking for his family where they are back in California. “I am really out to get started as quickly as possible so that I can get this bread. That is the only thing missing in my life. I have God, I got family, I got love, I got a support system, coach, I have a roof over my head, but I just want to feed my family, feed the people around me.”
