DWCS 78 offers five more exciting fights on Tuesday evening!

DWCS 78, the second week of 10 in the ninth season of Dana White’s Contender Series, Is for us. Last week only two participants at the UFC APEX facility UFC contracts concluded.

One of those contract winners, Baisangur Susurkaev (10-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has made all his promotion debut, Submitting Eric Nolan through the second round behind Choke To win his second fight in around 96 hours. The hunters who compete on DWCS 78 on Tuesday evening already know that the bet is high for them, as well as all the hunters they follow in the following weeks.

As usual, the five fights that form DWCS 78 can be seen via ESPN+ In the United States and UFC Fight Pass international. DWCS 78 Main Event: Manuel Exposito vs. Jose Delano

At the top of the bill for this midweek event, the featherweights go to the legendary Octagon to try to secure a UFC contract. Manuel Exposito (13-2 MMA) meets Jose Delano (15-3 MMA.) All fights on DWCS 78 are an advertised maximum of three rounds after five minutes per round, including main event.

Exposito, a former champion in both demo fight and Samurai Fight House, comes in Enterprise, NV went 3-2 in his last five trips to an MMA cage. He has currently lifted his hand three times in a row.

After an active year in 2024, this marks his first fight of 2025. Last November he went to the score cards against Antonio Ramirez (14-11 MMA) and won with a unanimous decision.

With more than nine months away from the cage for DWCS 78, how much ring rust does he have in this competition? Look on Tuesday to find out the answer.

In the meantime, Jose Delano is wearing a 4-1 figure in his last five fights and wins three consecutive attacks. An alumnus of and former title holder in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, he scored two stops in a row before the Bell was at the end to end the opening round.

Back on 7 February he stopped Abu Muslim Alikhanov (7-1 MMA) with a blow during LFA 201 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. With Delano on a hot streak that goes to DWCS 78, he expects that he will save the energy a few notches as soon as the cage door closes on Tuesday evening.

DWCS 78 Co-Main Event: Brandon Holmes vs. Cam Rowston

A universal theme for DWCS 78 on Tuesday is one of undefeated hunters. Six out of 10 fighters fighting at this week’s show still have to lose as professionals. The Co-Main event of the evening takes place on the middleweight.

Brandon Holmes (5-0 MMA) is getting rid of in Nevada for a tilt against Cam Rowston (11-3 MMA, 0-1 DWCs) in the second of the latter Competition series Fight. The first comes in having won nine fights in a row from his days in amateur competition.

He used to finish Zach Bego (6-6 MMA) with a knockout from the third round just before Memorial Day on 25 May. Holmes was supposed to have fought this last weekend against Elias Urbina (5-2 MMA) in Fury FC 107 before he was booked on Tuesday evening to fight Rowston on Tuesday evening.

He has had a rapid rise to get where he is now, after he only became Pro in December 2023. Will he redeem a UFC contract this week?

On the other side of the road, Cam Rowston, who was booked to fight Jonneman (10-0 MMA) this week before he had to withdraw because of a injured Rib, a return trip to the Tuesday evening MMA promotion with a record of 4-1 in the course of his five final games. Since he has dropped a unanimous decision to get Finney in his first Torrez Competition series Performance last August he completed three consecutive victories.

A former champion in Stealth Fight League, he surpassed Alfred Stoddart (4-5 MMA) through unanimous decision at the end of last winter. Will Rowston’s second chance to impress UFC CEO Dana White Go better than his first?

DWCS 78: Kaushik Saikumar vs. Louis Lee Scott

Also on DWCS 78 you will be treated to a Bantamweight showcase between Kaushik Saikumar (5-0 MMA), who went 2-0 in Cage Fury Fighting Championships, and Louis Lee Scott (9-0 MMA), a one-time champion in France’s Ares FC. Saikumar will take the walk that was last fought in CFFC 10 months ago.

That night he got his way to a third round knockout over Adamu Isah (5-2 MMA.) A planned fight of April 19 versus Fabriccio Robles (10-2 MMA) was scrubbed without a blow.

Saikumar has a finish of 80 percent prior to this week’s map. Expect him to hunt the interruption on Tuesday.

In the other corner, Louis Lee Scott has won 10 fights directly from his amateur career. On Valentine’s Day he submitted Youssouf Binate (5-1 MMA) with an arm bar in the opening round.

As we have mentioned so many times before, when a hunter is in a hot series, he is often in the most dangerous in the cage. Can the line continue?
