This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, celebrates its 40th anniversary. During that time, some of the world’s most desirable, iconic and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the covers of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY’s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the 1980s.

January – Acura NSX
In 2017, a legend returned: the Acura NSX. The new supercar with innovation in hybrid and all-wheel drive was shown on our 2017 cover.
February – Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 488 Spider
In February 2017, Ferrari celebrated its 70th anniversary with a series of unique examples inspired by historic cars, two of which were featured on our cover.
March – Aston Martin One-77
This beautiful example of the Aston Martin One-77 was for sale when it was featured on our March 2017 cover.
April – Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6
The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 truck was our April 2017 cover star.
May – BMW M760i
The 2017 BMW M760i was a luxury flagship with V12 power and all-wheel drive, which marked a milestone for the brand and was featured on our May 2017 cover.
June – Lexus LC 500
Our June 2017 cover featured the LexusLC500 on the cover, a new flagship grand tourer from Lexus at the time. The captivating, concept-like design is still beautiful.
July – Chevrolet Corvette SVE Yenko/SC, Plymouth Hemi Superbird, Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
Three muscle car heroes, both modern and classic, were featured on our July 2017 cover: Yenko Corvette of SVE, a Plymouth Hemi Superbird, and a Avoid demon.
August – Lamborghini Aventador S
A new chapter for the Lamborghini Aventador, the Lamborghini Aventador S, opened when this supercar was featured on the cover of duPont REGISTRY in August 2017.
September – Ferrari 812 Superfast
Ferrari celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2017 and also marked a turning point for the brand’s line-up with a new V12 grand tourer: the 812 Super fastwhich was featured along with other Ferrari legends on our September 2017 cover.
October – McLaren 720S
The McLaren 720Sat the time a new flagship of the historic racing manufacturer, is shown together with a Roger Dubuis watch on the cover of duPont REGISTRY of October 2017.
November – Mercedes-AMG Project ONE
The Mercedes AMG ONE hypercar was the culmination of years of effort and development, and one of the first times duPont REGISTRY highlighted the revolutionary F1-derived hypercar was on the cover of the magazine in November 2017.
December – Porsche 911 GT2 RS
Still one of the fastest cars ever from the legendary manufacturer, the Porsche 911 GT2RS The 991 generation emerged as a groundbreaking, race-ready machine and earned a deserved spotlight on the cover of duPont REGISTRY in December 2017.
