Driving to school changes in the police and crashes for the 12-year-old driver-jalopnik

Parents are known to leave their children behind, but those roles were reversed when a young boy did not bring his parents on a ride, reports the Los Angeles Times. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Got a phone call about a 12-year-old boy who had brought his parents’ truck for a joyride to his old school. He reportedly ran various traffic limits in the parking lot of the school. Like a former 12-year-old boy, I can understand the temptation. I was still massive matchbox car stacks that would have been at home at that age in an episode of “Chips”. As a former autocross player, I now understand that the fine of two seconds that has been requested for every cone that was brought down.

The delegates of the sheriff made the alleged cone murderer shortly after leaving the school. They tried to stop him, but he didn’t have it and placed his “Grand Theft Auto” skills to use. The chase was on.

A predictable result

Although there are exceptions, video games usually do not translate well into real life. That was the case here, because the chase was short, although not without consequences. The boy is said to have crashed into a parked car and then in the car of a sheriff before the pursuit came to an end. The young suspect was taken into custody. The Ford Explorer Sport Trac looks badly damaged at the front with a flat tire. That’s a shame, because the Explorer Sport Trac was a fairly cool truck in his time.

Because the suspect is a child, his name has not been released. We do not know whether he will be accused of a crime in juvenile court, sent to counseling or released to his parents. I suspect that he would then have his video games removed and ground for the rest of his life.

But seriously, this could have ended so much worse. We have seen a 10-year main police on a chase in Arizona. In that case his father was with us for the ride, but that only made it worse. The youngest car thief we saw, who also crashed against the police on the way to school, was only nine years old. No chicken nuggies for you.
