Drake Powell van Nets has finally been cleared for full contact practices

The nets constantly connect Drake Powell as the most athletic player in this year’s design class.

He gets the chance to prove it, they hope rather than later.

After a knee injury had robbed Powell of a chance to play in the summer competition, or even play pick-up with his new teammates in recent months, the smoke wing was finally cleared for full contact work for Monday’s training.

Those jumps were made all the more impressive by the fact that Powell was already dealing with left -wing knee -endinopathy.

Powell was drawn up 22nd General with the choice that Brooklyn acquired for taking Terance Mann as a salary dump, but he missed the summer competition and was even kept out of contact for the first week of the camp.

But the training wheels came out on Monday and he tries to get up at speed.

“Yes, it was great. You know, just being able to be a student of the game, still try to learn different concepts for this new system in which I am sitting,” said Powell.

For Powell he had an exceptionally low use in North Carolina as a 3-and-D wing.

With attack, he will have to work to go to his weakness, to sharpen his Scottish selection and adapt to the NBA game.
