Recommended start time for round 3
For the second day in a row, a member of the European Ryder Cup team will lead the India Championship this week. But it’s a different player than yesterday.
Shane Lowry took the lead after the opening round thanks to a stunning 64 on Day 1. But Ryder Cup teammate Tommy Fleetwood is the new man at the top of the leaderboard.
Fleetwood fired a 64 of his own on Friday, improving his overall score to 12 under. That gets him one one shot lead over Lowry and Brian Harman heading into Round 2. Rory McIlroy is six shots back at six under.
Fleetwood will tee off with Harman in the final pairing Saturday morning at 3:20 a.m. ET.
