South Park font makes me aware every time I see it, because it looks like it was written by a real fourth class with a chalk, which frankly is the most brilliant design choice ever. There is something so great rough and childish about those crazy, hand -drawn letters that immediately get me in the mood for a seriously inappropriate humor from Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny.

What I absolutely like about the South Park font is how it perfectly matches the entire aesthetics of the show “Made by Kids in A Basement”. The uneven, sketchy letter shapes look like they were scribbling on building paper during the art lesson, but that is exactly what makes them so brilliant. It is as Trey Parker and Matt Stone said: “Let’s make our title card look so amateur” and somehow created television old.
I am completely obsessed with how the South Park series has had the same font style for more than 25 years. Every time those curved letters appear on the screen, I know that I am about to laugh until my sides hurt while at the same time I question everything about society.
What really brings me is how this font became the ultimate symbol of irreverent comedy without bumps. It is beautiful ugly and perfectly imperfect. You can also view our free font collection.
