Donald Trump sparks major health fears in humiliating moment: ‘He’s not okay’

Donald Trump appeared to fall asleep in public before the second time this week while hosting leaders from Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The President of the United States signed agreements with Congo and Rwanda, which the White House expects will provide new opportunities for the US to access crucial minerals.

Footage posted on social media appears to show Trump’s eyelids drooping and head nodding forward at points in front of the TV cameras on Thursday (December 4). Political commentator Harry Sisson, who describes himself as a Democrat, shared a video of the Republican president and wrote:Trump just fell asleep again. This keeps happening. He is clearly not doing well and anyone who thinks he is healthy is lying to themselves. We’re screwed.”

Trump also appeared with his eyes closed as he met with members of his senior team at the White House on Tuesday (December 2). A TV camera trained on Trump during the long meeting showed him appearing to struggle at times to stay alert.

As each Cabinet member made presentations in a meeting that lasted more than 90 minutes, Mr. Trump could be seen sitting back in his chair with his eyes droop and sometimes close whole.

During the meeting in the White House Cabinet Room, there also appeared to be two Band-Aids on his right hand.

Mr. Sisson noted in a subsequent tweet: “Trump has bandages on his bruised hand and falls asleep almost daily at public events. This man is not well and I don’t think MAGA can deny it anymore.”

Speculation about Trump’s health has been rife in recent months, but ahead of Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, the president said, referring to himself in the third person, “Trump is sharp.”

Trump’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, said the president had MRI images of his heart and abdomen in October as part of preventative screening for men his age, according to a memo released by the White House on Monday.

Dr. Barbabella said Mr. Trump’s physical exam included “advanced imaging,” which is “standard for a physical exam” in Mr. Trump’s age group.

The release of the memo comes after Trump, 79, told reporters on Air Force One that he had an MRI scan at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Trump said on a separate call with reporters on Sunday as he traveled back to Washington from Florida that the MRI results were “perfect.”

Dr. Barbabella concluded that the cardiovascular and abdominal imaging was “completely normal” and wrote in his memo: “The purpose of this imaging is preventive: to identify problems early, confirm overall health, and ensure long-term maintenance of vitality and function.”

Claims from political opponents about Trump’s suitability for office come after he made repeated attempts to discredit his predecessor, Joe Biden, while the Democrat was in the White House. In June, Trump ordered an investigation into Biden’s actions as president, claiming aides covered up his mental state.
