Dominick Reyes hopes to earn a rematch with Jiri Procazka in the near future.
Reyes will be UFC Perth against Carlos Ulberg Headline on Saturday in an intriguing light heavyweight fight. The winner of the fight will be in the title interviews and Reyes has an idea of how he wants the division to take place.
“I have my son in December, so the best case that Alex wins, he is a good friend of mine, I want him to win, and then they repeat with Jiri and Jiri, and then I rematch Jiri in the White House,” said Reyes Nice junkie. “USA Baby, let’s go. I’m a big patriot. That would be a dream come true.”
As Reyes says, his ideal scenario is to beat Ulberg, take some free time and return for a title shot against Prochazka next summer on the White House card. But before that can happen, he must beat Ulberg, which is easier said than done.
Dominick Reyes goes to enemy territory and is a +205 underdog against Ulberg, so the American will have his hands full. But he is convinced that he will be able to win the upset and send an explanation to the light heavyweight division.

Although Reyes is aimed at Ulberg, he does admit that a rematch with Procazka is something he wants.
Reyes knows that he has the talent to beat Procazka, and he wants to get it back.
“The rematch with Jiri, that’s the fight,” said Reyes. “I don’t really want to fight Alex because he’s my friend. I will fight against him, but I don’t really want it. Ankalaev, I will fight against the man, whatever. The same with Khalil; it’s like whatever. I don’t have history, or I want to get it back.
“The Jiri fight was a great fight as long as it took. I think we will do it again, it will be a great fight again, and I have nothing but respect for Jiri … everything I know is that I was a laser bundle focused on this fight, and that is all that I am really worried about to be honest.”
Reyes suffered a ko -loss to Procazka in May 2021.
