Analysis

Alex Vesia and Tanner Scott are both left off the Dodgers World Series roster. Instead, the Dodgers will have Will Klein and Edgardo Henriquez available in the bullpen.

Moreover, Ben Casparius was left out of the selection, which was also an expected move.

The absence of Vesia and Scott means the Dodgers won’t have two of their high-leverage left-handers. It was announced on Thursday that Vesia was away from the team due to a very personal family matter, so his status for the World Series is obviously of secondary importance.

Scott underwent an excisional procedure for the lower body abscess and was unable to get going in time to return to the Dodgers for the final series of the year.
