Smith’s charity Catching Hope – which works to help underprivileged children develop crucial skills for leadership, self-reliance and self-sufficiency – has partnered with Netflix is a Joke since 2024 to host the annual Dodgers Comedy Night, with this year’s episode airing May 7 at 7pm PT.
Actor and comedian Ken Jeong will host the event, which will take place at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills. Michelle Buteau, Ryan Hamilton, Sam Jay, Tom Papa, Frankie Quiñones and Derrick Stroup will also be at the event. Tickets for the event go on sale on January 23 at 10am PT.

Will Dodgers Comedy Night disrupt the regular season?
In each of the previous two episodes of Dodgers Comedy Night, the event took place after a day game. This year, the Dodgers will not play a game on the day of the event and will then be well rested for their seven-game home stretch against the Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants.
