LA is down an outfielder after Michael Conforto’s contract expired at the end of the season, and they have yet to make an addition this season. However, there is still plenty of time left this winter, and… The Athletics Jim Bowden mentioned the Dodgers as potential landing spots for both Tucker and Bellinger.
“The Dodgers, who need to improve their right-field defense, are also a great fit, although their interest lies in a shorter contract with higher AAV and opt-out clauses.” Bowden wrote. “If Tucker decides to pursue a ‘cushion deal’ like Alonso did last season, the Dodgers are his best landing spot.”

Tucker is primarily a right fielder and would fit right into the Dodgers’ lineup if he were to sign with LA this offseason. He has won each of the last four All-Star Games and has hit 20 or more home runs in the last five seasons.
But if the Dodgers don’t sign Tucker, Bowden thinks the Dodgers could look back at Bellinger.
“If a Yankees or Mets deal doesn’t work out and the Dodgers don’t sign Tucker, a return to LA is possible for Bellinger,” Bowden wrote. “It sounds like a return to the Dodgers would be Bellinger’s second choice to re-sign with the Yankees.”

Bellinger spent the best years of his career with the Dodgers, making two All-Star appearances in his first three seasons and winning the MVP award for his fantastic performance in 2019. However, he struggled towards the end of his tenure with the Dodgers and ultimately the team did not tender him.
However, in recent seasons he has bounced back and is once again an All-Star caliber player.
If the Dodgers had to move either player, they would have by far the best lineup in baseball and be in prime position to win their third straight World Series title.
