Although several starters have been set aside by injury, Yamamoto has remained a constant in a Dodgers rotation that is in the dark for a majority of the 2025 campaign.
In addition to health, Yamamoto has emerged as the bait of the Dodgers, with an ERA of 2.51 with 139 strikeouts over 122 innings this season.
Yamamoto is currently leading LA-Starters in Innings Pitched, which is no surprise in view of his good health and consistency in 2025. It seems that the Dodgers take into account the Yamamoto workload, because the right-handed person does not start on Sunday in the series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Dodgers changed Tyler GlasNow and Yamamotos from place in the rotation, making the bait a full week off between Starts. Instead, GlasNow takes the hill for the Dodgers Sunday.
Yamamto starts on Monday before the Dodgers against the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim.

As a collective, Dodgers -Starters have given only six earned runs in 43.2 innings to start the month of August.
The Dodgers are located in the middle of a tight divisier race, with the San Diego Padres only three games behind LA. The two NL West teams are ready to collide in their next series, which will start next week.
The rotation of Dodgers apparently is only at the right time of the season, which is exactly what the Front Office counted on with La’s quiet trade theadline.
