The Los Angeles Dodgers fought many injuries this season, but they remained close to the top of the National League.
Now, with about 50 games in the season, the injured players of the Dodgers are starting to return to Los Angeles, making it a pretty scary scene for the rest of the competition.
But for the Dodgers there will be a bit of a schedule crisis when these players start to return.
Sam Phalen from Dodgers Way recently predicted the Dodgers would ship Infield front view Alex Freeland back to Triple-A when the injured players start returning to the main class selection.

“It was nice to look at ShortStop output Alex Freeland get his first taste of the big competitions last week. Freeland is the number 3 prospect in the Dodgers organization, and he had a solid 2025 season in Triple-A,” Perhalen wrote. “He was more than a shot when Hyenseong Kim went down, but I don’t see Los Angeles going with an experienced infielder to keep freeland in the big competitions.
“I bet that freeland, which .286, with a .624 Ops in six games, will be sent back to Triple-A at Kim’s return. We will probably see him back in MLB as soon as the schedules expand at the beginning of September.”
When Infielder Hyesong Kim returns, Freeland probably goes to Triple-A, as Phalen indicates, but there is a chance that the young more infielder could become a staple on the Roster next season.
Freeland is very talented, but he is still young and has to polish his game a bit. The Dodgers could use him over the play if injuries shine at all, but his time with the Dodgers may come to an end this year if everyone can get healthy and stay healthy.
