The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 on Tuesday night to take a 2-0 lead in the NLCS. Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a complete game, with his only earned run coming on a solo home run on the first pitch of the night.
The ace struck out seven and walked just one, allowing three hits on his 111 pitches.
In other news, right-hander Roki Sasaki had a dip in his velocity during his outing in Game 1. Manager Dave Roberts revealed that his team is still trying to figure out why there was a dip in velocity, but he doesn’t seem too concerned about the young right-hander.
