Dodgers notes: LA interested in top relievers, could make blockbuster trade, Shohei Ohtani MVP

The Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in a closer this season, and instead of looking at All-Stars Edwin Diaz and Robert Suarez, they could look elsewhere.

Both Pete Fairbanks and Raisel Iglesias have been linked to the Dodgers and could fill the top spot in the Dodgers bullpen come the 2026 season.

The Dodgers are also looking to add an outfielder, and USA Today’s Bob Nightengale thinks they could make a move on Gold Glove left fielder Steven Kwan.

One place the Dodgers definitely don’t need any help is at designated hitter, as Shohei Ohtani won his fourth MVP award on Thursday, joining Barry Bonds as the only players to win more than three.
