The Los Angeles Dodgers are on their way to the World Series again.
After dismantling the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series – beating the MLB’s best regular-season team – the Dodgers are headed to the World Series for the second straight season.
Shohei Ohtani essentially single-handedly sent the Dodgers to the Fall Classic on Friday night, pitching six shutout innings with 10 strikeouts while going 3-for-3 with three home runs. It was one of the best postseason performances in history.
Ohtani, of course, took home NLCS MVP honors.
And finally, Dave Roberts sent an epic message to Dodgers fans after the game:
“Before the season started, they said, ‘The Dodgers are ruining baseball,’” Roberts told the crowd at Dodger Stadium. “Let’s get four more wins and really screw up baseball.”
