Former Los Angeles Dodgers -Infielder Buddy Kennedy released exemptions after he had been appointed by the team earlier this week before the assignment.
The Dodgers sent him downright to Triple-a Oklahoma City, but the veteran chose to leave the organization and go to Free Agency, according to his transaction tracker on MLB.com.

Kennedy, 26, was claimed by the Dodgers on 15 August by the Dodgers and added to the active selection on the same day that Max Muncy went on the injured list with his oblique injury.
Kennedy finally appeared in seven games with the Dodgers and went 1-out-17 (.059) with five strikeouts.
The Dodgers were the third team that Kennedy played this season, because he also spent time with the Philadelphia Phillies and Toronto Blue Jays. In general, the Infielder appeared this season in 13 games and hit 2-from-29 (.069) with one run and eight strikeouts.
Kennedy was initially prepared by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the 2017 MLB design. He debuted with Arizona in 2022 and appeared in a total of 67 games at the MLB level with the Diamondbacks, Detroit Tigers, Blue Jays and Dodgers.
Kennedy has a career slash line from .178/.271/.274 with two home runs and 20 beaten points. Over 681 career Minor League matches, Kennedy .281/.378/.437 with 66 home runs and 345 RBIs.
Kennedy has Major League experience on third base, second base and the first base. He now goes to Free Office, where he will look to hold another organization.
