The Los Angeles Dodgers are preparing again on October, and despite the fact that the team finally acts as the title defender lately, important members of the team are still waiting in the wings.
One of those wounded Dodgers is right -handed Roki Sasaki. The 23-year-old phenomenon has been sidelined since May with a shoulder cure, but is approaching the end of his rehabilitation assignment. Although the first few starts of his time in Triple-A have been less than ideal, he has noted an increased speed and improved command since his time in MLB.
The rotation looks a bit different, because the last time Sasaki threw for La, and with their recent success on the hill there is no guaranteed place for the young pitcher. Manager Dave Roberts spoke about a potential Sasaki decay before the end of the season, but did not mention exactly where he would play.

“I don’t know when. I don’t know what power,” he said. “But I hope we will see Roki here before the end of the season.”
There is the idea that Sasaki returns to a bullpen role, but with consistency such as something that the right-handed lake is needed from the bump, Roberts also touched on how there should be an element of trust from both sides to make that happen.
“I think Roki … is in a good place to do what it is like to help the team,” said Roberts. ‘[Pitching out of the bullpen] Would be something that would be completely strange to him, so it should also be a bit of faith on his part.
“But I think he understands how well the starting pitchers pitch. He just wants to be part of it. He has worked very hard to get himself in a position to contribute.”
In the last rehabilitation start of Sasaki, he spent eight more than 4.2 innings, ran four and allowed three points. He threw an average fastball of 98.6 MPH (an increase of 4.2 mph from its last start) and hit six times 100 km / h or more.
