The Los Angeles Dodgers lost from the San Francisco Giants, 5-1, on Friday evening via a walk-off Grand Slam in the 10th inning against Tanner Scott. La fell in a devastating manner in 82-65 and dropped the first of seven meetings against their NL West-Vijand in the next 10 days. Scott gave up his 11th home run of the season on the Grand Slam.
During the match, the third baseman Max Muncy from All-Star was forced to leave after he was hit by a throw. Manager Dave Roberts gave an update about the Slugger after the game.
In other news, All-Star-Catcher Will Smith did not play on Friday, but was available for the bank. After a fault ball had dealt with the right side of the right hand, the backstop missed his fourth consecutive match, but is not on the injured list.
