The Los Angeles Dodgers place Rookie-Catcher Dalton who hurried on the injured list and have called Catcher Chuckie Robinson from Triple-a Oklahoma City, per manager Dave Roberts.

La is desperate to reinforcements, since Will Smith and Hurzing have sustained injuries this week.
Robinson did not make a Major League performance in 2025, but could be very good for the Dodgers with the primary catchers of the team that is currently being sidelined. Robinson played for the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds, making his MLB debut with the organization in 2022.
The Catcher is a career .132 Hitter with a .364 Ops over 129 battlefields in the large competitions.
Smith has to deal with a bone button in his right hand, but manager Dave Roberts said that the 30-year-old could probably avoid a stint on the injured list.
“I think with the results we have received, I think we can avoid the IL,” said Roberts about the wounded catcher.
Smith was removed in the third inning of the 3-0 loss on Wednesday before the Pittsburgh Pirates after an error tip immediately hit his right hand in the second inning. In anticipation of Thursday’s series, the Dodgers Minor League Catcher Ben Rortvedt called for depth behind the Rookie, hastily.
