A doctor has claimed that a spoon of peanut butter before bed can help you sleep better all night.

This is because the tryptophan contains – an amino acid vital for the production of serotonin – “that can have a calming effect on your brain,” said Dr. Kunal Sood.

Some study have proposed that different foods with tryptophan can help improve sleep quality.

But it also contains many healthy fats that prevents spikes from blood sugar levels, which can be a cause to wake up at night, added the anaesthesiologist established in the US.
