SUMMER SIDE, PE – Doc Awesome (All bets off) worked late into the night to set Tuesday’s top condition pace of $4,300 in Race 12 at Red Shores Summerside Raceway, capping off a great night for driver David Dowling.
Sitting sixth at the recommended pace, Dowling rode the All Bets Off gelding into the lead past five-eighths and kept the pedal to the metal to win in 1:55.3, with Sauble Attack (driven by Ken Murphy) second and American Risk (Brady Sweet) third. Doc Awesome ($14.40) was a one-and-three-quarter length winner for co-owner and trainer Darla MacEachern and co-owners Allen Gaudet and Mike Cameron.
