Tour Tempo, co -created by John Novosel Jr. And his father, is a training platform with an app, a series of instruction books and an accumulation of enlightening data about the swing. Their extensive research shows that the world’s best golfers are super speed, not super syrupy, especially in their backswings.

Research proves that a smaller ratio between the time you take to complete your backswing and your Downswing is creating some extra speed and strength. But you can’t just make a faster swing. The trick is to add strength on the way back so that you can use it on the way down.

Not convinced? View the speed facts below.

Speed fact no. 1
Of the last 100 big winners, the majority had a tighter Backswing-to-Downswing-time ratio.

Speed Fact no. 2
Most winners of the last 100 Majors lasted less than 1.2 seconds to come from collection meals, to impact,

Speed Fact no. 3
In the last 100 Majors, 75 percent of the winner completed their backswings in 0.75 seconds or less.

Force creates speed. And based on the figures presented above, you can appreciate the need for speed in the modern game. Force is unfortunately invisible, but the need to create it in your swing is just as important as always. In addition to research we have done at Tour Tour Tempo, we have at various studies from Dr. Robert Grober leaned in Yale University Department of Applied Physics, who says that the ability of a golfer to achieve the desired 3: 1 Backswing-to-Downswing ratio depends on their ability to put more power in the ground and start on the club’s handle.

Of course, the power that makes you impact from the top is much larger (about twice as much), but you need that power creation from setting up to the top to make it all work. For the REC golfer that wants to add speed, you must be Dynamic Backswing, not just a smooth movement.

The good news is that to make longer shots you don’t necessarily have to swing the club. By adding strength to your backswing, the rest of your swing becomes much faster almost faster, especially where it counts – due to impact. On the following pages we will show you how to “use the power” to feed a speed-inducing backswing for more powerful recordings. There is also an extra advantage: making these movements brings your swing to a better aircraft, so you will not only touch it for longer, you touch it.
