DMart Q3 results: Cons profit up 18% YoY to Rs 856 crore, revenue up 13%

Avenue Supermarts, the parent company of retail chain DMart, on Saturday reported its third-quarter results for fiscal 2026, registering 18.3% year-on-year (year-on-year) growth in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 855.92 crore, compared to Rs 723.72 crore in the same period last year. Meanwhile, operating income witnessed a spike of 13.3% year-on-year.Revenue from operations for the said quarter stood at Rs 18,100.88 crore, up from Rs 15,972.55 crore in the third quarter of the previous fiscal.

It should be noted that the net profit can be allocated to the owners of the business.PAT margin stood at 4.7% in Q3FY26, compared to 4.5% in Q3FY25.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose to Rs 1,463 crore in Q3FY26, compared to Rs 1,217 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA margin improved to 8.1% from 7.6% in Q3FY25.


Total revenue for the nine-month period ended December 2025 (9MFY26) stood at Rs 51,137 crore, up from Rs 44,486 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA rose to Rs 3,976 crore in 9MFY26 from Rs 3,532 crore in 9MFY25, while EBITDA margin stood at 7.8%, slightly lower than 7.9% a year ago.

Net profit for the period rose to Rs 2,313 crore from Rs 2,157 crore in 9MFY25. PAT margin stood at 4.5% in 9MFY26, compared to 4.8% in the corresponding period last year. DMart also noted that the company’s sales growth was partially impacted by deflation in its staples.

In addition, the company opened 10 stores during the quarter, and as of December 31, 2025, the total number of stores stood at 442.

On a standalone basis, DMart’s net profit stood at Rs 923 crore for Q3FY26 compared to Rs 785 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, while PAT margin was 5.2% in Q3FY26 compared to 5.0% in Q3FY25.

Total revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 stood at Rs 17,613 crore, compared to Rs 15,565 crore in the same period last year.

DMart shares closed Friday’s trading session at Rs 3,805.10, on a flat note on the BSE.
