Djokovic delivers the first throw to New York Yankees competition, meets Aaron Judge

Prior to his search for a fifth US Open title, Novak Djokovic was central on Thursday evening at the baseball hill in Yankee Stadium.

With a white sleeve on his arm, the 38-year-old Serbian delivered the ceremonial first throw before the New York Yankees bumped into the Boston Red Sox.

Djokovic, the former number 1 player in the PIF ATP ranking, was also posed with Yankees Star Arron Judge, who is a seven-time MLB All-Star and double MVP winner of the American League.

In addition to exchanging one of his racquets with a judge for a signed baseball bat, Djokovic posed with Yankees players Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe, who combines the world of tennis and baseball in an unforgettable crossover.

Djokovic, since reaching the Wimbledon Semi-Final Semi-Final, Djokovic will no longer take action at the US Open against #nextgenatp American Learner Tien, who will be the first Lexus ATP Head2head meeting of the couple.
