The disposable disposal ban can drift 200,000 people back to smoking when the next month comes into effect, warns a report.

The law is aimed at protecting the environment and tackling an increase in vaping rates for young people, who have risen from 0.8 percent in 2013 to 7.2 percent last year.

But the Future Health Research Center says that the move runs the risk of the progress of the government in the direction of a ‘smoke -free’ large -Britain if Vapers are not supported to retain their ‘stop journey’ and switch back to smoking.

An estimated 5 million vapen of one use, which are available to buy at pocket money prices, are thrown away in the UK every week.

The endgame of the research report: Managing the disposable evaporation prohibition and the journey to a smoke -free future ‘contains new polling with 45 percent of the Vapers’ always’,’ often ‘or’ sometimes’ use a disposable device.

The highest percentages of the use of disposable VAPE belong to those from 18 to 24 years old, unveiling the study of 4,393 British adults.

As a result of the ban, 12 percent of users say they switch from vapen to smoking.

About 54 percent are planning to switch to another VAPE, 15 percent are planning to completely stop vapen, and 9 percent will try traditional nicotine replacement therapies, such as patches or gums.

Modeling scenarios based on the findings indicate that the disposable dispensing ban between 175,000 and 378,000 people will stop vapen, and between 630,000 and 1.36 million people transferring to another Vapenproduct.

But the smoking percentage could increase between 90,000 and 200,000, which adds 0.2 percent to 0.4 percent to the total smoking percentage of the population.

Richard Sloggett, the author of the report and a former government adviser, said: ‘The government has welcome and supported strong action to reduce smoking and tackle youth fapers.

‘However, these findings show that urgent work is needed to ensure that efforts to reduce daping on young people do not have the unintended result of increasing the number of smoking – especially among younger people.

‘The ban also feels like a missed opportunity, with hundreds of thousands of people who are soon looking for alternatives to disposable fumes, but more than half who say they just switch to another product.

“With the prohibition, the government must now come to the front foot, commit itself to a national anti-smoking campaign for mass media and clearly explain how it will use its upcoming regulatory powers via the tobacco and vapor ticket to ensure that those who use disposable exhibition do not smoke instead.”

The report, commissioned by Kenvue, the makers of Nicolette, calls on the government to use new regulatory powers to limit Vape’s surface, packaging and displays and to limit the flavor descriptions on the products.

It also calls for new goals to check and give priority to reductions of vaping rates for young people and to move financing again for a national anti-smoking campaign for mass media.

Steve Brine, a former Minister of Health and previous chairman of the Commons Health and Social Care Committee, who contributed a preface to the report, said: ‘Smoking remains the only leading cause of illness and mortality in the UK.

‘The disposable evaporation prohibition and the wider action of the government in tackling smoking are a huge step in the right direction for England when reaching the original smoke -free ambition.

‘But we are not there yet and like this research of future health increase, every complacency will have serious consequences.

“The government must ensure that those who use disposable vapors are aware of the prohibition, the alternatives to switch to following the introduction and the dangers of seizing or returning to smoking.”
