Lexar has signed on as an official global partner of the Argentina national football team.
Over the past two years, the AFA has become one of the most aggressively marketed associations in international football. Training packs, digital content, regional sponsorships, fan tokens and lifestyle products have all endorsed it. Messi’s final appearance on the world stage in 2026 has given the federation an influence that few others can match.
Lexar’s sponsorship activation leans on its legacy. The company points to its 30-year history of storage innovation, from all-metal SD cards to high-capacity microSD products, and bills itself as the keeper of “decisive moments.” And in football, the World Cup often reveals ‘decisive moments’ that can be remembered for generations.
As part of the deal, Lexar will release AFA co-branded versions of its Air Portable SSD and SL500 Portable SSD in the first half of 2026. Fans aren’t just buying storage, they’re buying a physical extension of the World Cup memory, wrapped in the colors and credibility of Argentina.
