Hi! My name is Clarisse and I am a freelance web designer Okey studioCurrently located in Toulouse, France. Together with Adrien Quéchon, a web developer, we have co-founder of OKEY Studio in 2021-a independent digital studio that specializes in creating unique, fully adapted websites. We especially like creating creative and original sites where we can play with ideas, interactions and visuals, while we still achieve the goals of our customers. We have spent a lot of heart in making personalized user experiences, always tailored to the needs and vision of those with whom we work.
What I especially like is the diversity of sectors with which we collaborate: it forces us to remain curious, constantly testing new visual languages, exploring unexpected ideas and challenging our habits.
Featured work
Cyclops Club
This is the promotion website for Cyclops Club, a Studio, based in New York that offers video production and editing services to optimize your multimedia content. Made in Okey Studio, the site immerses visitors in a quirky, dynamic and fun universe.
Challenges: We wanted to record nods to the video world (timelines, icons, progress bars, time indicators, REC mode …), as well as gifs and Easter eggs. The challenge was to maintain a professional tone and to keep it fun at the same time – so we had to find the right balance between all these elements.
Personal comment: This was one of those projects where you feel really creative freedom, and especially, where we really enjoyed. Marvin trusted US 200%, so we could push the graphic boundaries quite far while we kept consistent with the brand image and the goals. We enjoyed hiding small Easter eggs and gifs on the entire site. The best was to embrace this funny tone while retaining a professional and controlled basis.
Virtual gallery
Virtual Gallery is a personal project that we have made internally in Okey Studio. The site honors photographers who share their photos generously online. It celebrates their talent through a small virtual photo gallery – such as an exhibition space, but in a digital form. We wanted to create a smooth and pleasant browse experience through a selection of beautiful photos, scrolling with carefully manufactured and a compelling feeling.
Challenges: The biggest challenge was probably selecting the photos. I sorted the images on colors and moods to keep a consistent aesthetics on the entire site.
Personal comments: Because this is a personal project, it was naturally more difficult to set limits. No customer, no deadline … So you want to continue, keep testing, keep doing it again. You have to learn to set limits for yourself and to accept that it is ‘ready’ at some point. But it was also a real creative bubble, a playground and experimental space – the type of project that you re -connect with the simple joy of designing without limitations.
Inertia studios
This is the showcase website for Inertia Studios, a creative studio based in London that pushes the boundaries of CGI, design and futuristic aesthetics. Their ambition: create visual experiences that grab you, stop and make you feel something real.
Made in OKEY Studio, the site uses a rather sober aesthetics: micro interactions, flexible transitions, subtle hover effects, large capitals and fixed and good pace typographic blocks, for a sharp and impactful look without feeling cold. A real balance between strictness, minimalism and boldness. I really love the work of Inertia Studios – Working together on their website Redewerp was a pure pleasure.
Challenges: Inertia has a strong brand image and an international customer portfolio, so it was essential to remain very professional and completely readable. The most important challenge was to maintain a “classic” structure in terms of usability (clear information, intuitive navigation), while avoiding boredom by injecting modernity and visual tension.
Studio Karo
Karo is a brand for art and clothing located in New York, founded by Anya Karolyn. The studio defines itself as: non-traditional, a unification of artworks, fashion, music and video. Anya reached contact with OKEY Studio to re-design her e-commerce website. I presented a more artistic, unconventional and daring version, completely rooted in her aesthetics. The design uses a brutalist approach, with chrome elements – a color and material that Anya mainly loves – as well as touch of electric blue; Both emblematic for her visual identity. We loved to transcribe the world of Studio Karo through interactive web animations where users become part of the experience.
Challenges: The challenge was absolutely to find the right balance between an artistic, very personal design with a strong visual aesthetics and a smooth, intuitive e-commerce experience. The site had to reflect both the unique world of Karo, while users can easily navigate and shop without friction.
Personal comment: I thought it was great to work on this project – Anya and I was really on the same wavelength from the start. She gave me full confidence and we immediately understood each other about her desires, her goals and the creative direction to take. It was a super creative project where I could take a number of other, sometimes daring ideas – and she thought it was absolutely great. A smooth, inspiring and free cooperation!
Henri Heymans
Henri is a web developer who has contacted me to work on the web design for his first portfolio. His goal was clear: distinguishing from other developers and trying to win a site of the day (SOTD) on awwwards. The site, now updated (2025), is unfortunately no longer online – but I have saved a video and visual recording of it.
It contained a brutalist style on a black background. The design played with very large typographic compositions, scale variations and a horizontal scroll that ran navigation. The central element of the site was a 3D -liquid metal bulb in negative, located on the homepage. It responded to cursor movements, creating a hypnotic effect that anchored experience in a living material.

Personal comment: This was a project where I could explore a daring design with a strong graphic attitude. Henri wanted a site that attracted attention – and we enjoyed making a showcase that other than all others.
My personal website
This is my personal website, designed as a creative showcase that reflects both my style and personality. I wanted it to be minimalist in structure, but still fun and human, and gave a more intimate glimpse of who I am.
In the charger, Adrien had fun to animate the logo with a pixel effect that we love – we mainly enjoy these kinds of small details. When you arrive on the page, the central function is a distortion effect that is used on the main text, creating a lively and interactive texture.
Because I quickly get bored and as almost every color, I added a button “Change the mood” with which you can adjust both the color palette of the page and the Welcome GIF in the hero part. This gives the site an evolving atmosphere and emphasizes the visual diversity, while it adds a playful touch.
It is not a classic portfolio: no detailed project pages, but rather a personal space where I can present my work in a way that suits me, testing ideas and evolving the site as I want.
Challenges: The real challenge was setting boundaries for myself. When you create for yourself, everything is possible, and I tend to like and try many things. I had to decide: “Okay, this is the direction I choose”, and stay it until the end.
Thanks CedricVideographer, for his great work on the video for my showreel.
Background
I studied graphic design in Toulouse, with a final year that specializes in web design. I quickly developed a taste for web design and interactive experiences. Immediately after my graduation I had the opportunity to work directly on web projects as a freelancer – and I decided to fully start this adventure.
In 2021, together with Adrien Quéchon, we founded Okey studio To offer a complete service: adapted design and development, hand in hand.
One of the highlights was our very first site of the day on awwwards: After having spent my student years admiring the work of other designers on that site, seeing our own work that there was a real achievement.
Design philosophy
For me, making a website means telling a visual story that reflects the personality of a brand. I believe in customized solutions, the importance of details and the idea that a site must be beautiful, functional, well -performing and designed to stand out, regardless of its complexity.
Tools and techniques
I use Figma for design and conception, and I like to work closely with Adrien on the development side to improve interactions and brainstorming of animation ideas together. I do a lot of creative research and exploration before every project. It is also essential for me to completely immerse myself in the world of the customer or the brand I work with.
Inspiration
Online, I like to view sites such as AWWARDS, CSS Design Awards, FWA, Dribbble, Pinterest, etc. (nothing very original). But I also get a lot of inspiration from real life: by traveling, as well as music, books and films.
Future goals
I would like to continue to make websites that are both creative and tailor -made, with more projects where I have real artistic freedom, or at least a lot of room to present original ideas. I really enjoy having fun at what I do! And I want to continue to refine and improve my work.
Together with Adrien we also want to start working on the OKEY Studio website – a site that really reflects who we are and shows our work and projects. It is an exciting challenge, but we have to find the time, because such projects can quickly become a real playground!
Last thoughts
It is always a bit difficult to give advice or to share a personal message, but I would just say: enjoy what you do, have fun and put your heart in it – it usually comes across in the project 🫶
Thank you very much for reading, and a big thank you to Codrops and Manoela for inviting to share a glimpse of my world and work.
