According to head coach Joe Mazzulla, the Boston Celtics’ recent run has been about more than just wins and losses.

As Chris Mannix explains, Mazzulla believes the past few weeks have helped the Celtics gain clarity about who they are and what sets them apart from other teams.

“We’ve been developing our identity over the last month and a half,” the coach said, adding that the challenge now is to bring the same version of himself every night.

What was initially seen as a transitional season is starting to look very different from the inside. Mannix notes that the group has embraced an underdog mentality, turning doubt into fuel.

That attitude was on full display against the LA Clippers, when Derrick White scored 29 points and spoke openly about the team’s collective lead.

“I think we’re just hungry,” said Derrick White, explaining that outside skepticism has tied the roster together.

White also pointed to the team’s composition as a driving force, citing players who were previously left out or overlooked and are now embracing a real opportunity to prove themselves.

With so many players carrying that motivation, he described the current journey as both validating and enjoyable, saying the opportunity to compete and grow together has made this run particularly fun.
