Dem Rep. Goldman: Biden FBI Didn’t Mess Up By Not Catching Pipe Bomb Suspect That ‘Terrible’ Trump FBI Did

On Thursday’s broadcast of MS NOW’s “The Briefing,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) said the FBI is “doing such a poor job because they’re so focused on the politics of everything, they’re not focused on the safety and security of the American people. And that’s what’s missing. That’s what we’re losing because of this terrible FBI.” And also stated that the Biden administration did not do a bad job by not being able to arrest suspects in the pipe bomb plantings in 2021.

Host Jen Psaki asked: “However, Pam Bondi and Kash Patel are also saying that the evidence used to arrest the alleged pipe bomber was, quote, gathering dust under the Biden DOJ. You have a role in overseeing the Justice Department. Do you have any belief or opinion that anything was mishandled by the Biden administration while this investigation was ongoing?”

Goldman responded: “I don’t even think their charges have been mishandled. It’s just the unfortunate reality that this Justice Department can’t help but make everything political. It’s great when they get the pipe bomber, excellent investigative work. They should be proud of that. But why does it have anything to do with Joe Biden? Why is everything chest-thumping and this and that and that? Just do your job. Do your job. But the problem is that, in virtually every other case, Kash Patel isn’t doing his job, and that’s why why morale at the FBI is incredibly low, why people there are miserable, and why they do such a poor job, because they are so focused on the politics of it all, they are not focused on the safety and security of the American people And that is what we are missing because of this horrible FBI.
