An Indigo flight from Raipur to Delhi was forced to break down the landing on Sunday evening due to a serious dust storm and turbulent weather conditions in the national capital.
Flight 6313 was about to touch the international airport of Indira Gandhi when the gusts of wind and a dust storm Delhi-Ncr hit, so that the pilot had broken down the landing and circle until the circumstances improved.
A video recorded by a passenger on the plane appeared in social media and recorded the moment of turbulence while the plane shook into the air.
The plane eventually landed safely at Delhi airport after it was erased by the Air Traffic Control (ATC) to land.
According to the pilot’s announcement, the wind speed was up to 80 km per hour, while he stopped the approach and returned until it disappeared again.
Sudden change in the weather in Delhi
Earlier today, strong wind wiped over Delhi-Ncr, accompanied by a dust storm and heavy rain on Sunday evening after the residents struggled with a hot afternoon.
The downpour lowered the mercury, which resulted in a significant decrease in temperatures – with a maximum of 14 degrees Celsius in different parts of Delhi – that offer residents a short but welcome postponement of the sultry heat.
At Safdarjung the temperature dropped by 14 degrees – from 37 degrees Celsius at 3.30 pm to 23 degrees Celsius at 5.30 pm.
The sudden change in the weather followed earlier predictions of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which had predicted light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by strong wind that reached speeds of 50-70 km / h over different parts of Delhi-NCR during the last three days of May.
