The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority has announced the third annual Adirondack Winter Invitational Division I Herenhockey Tournament that is taking place Thanksgiving Weekend – Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29 – in the Herb Brooks Arena of the Olympic Center 1980.
Umass Lowell returns as the title defender, while North Country Stalwarts Clarkson and St. Lawrence watch to keep the trophy in local hands and Alaska appears for the first time in the tournament.
Each team plays two non -conference games for two days, with the tournament champion determined by a general point system.

Tournament history
The Adirondack Winter Invitational takes place during the first half of the seasonal schedule of each team and offers the possibility to compete on neutral ice against non-conference opponents. Arizona State won the inaugural Adirondack Winter Invitational title in 2023, followed by the narrow victory of Umass Lowell last year.
