Their defeat at Vicarage Road was only their second of the season and Boro remain in good shape to continue their challenge.

Leicester City predicted XI

(4-2-3-1)

Stolarczyk; Pereira, Faes, Vestergaard, Thomas; James, winks; Fatawu, Decordova-Reid, Mavididi; Yes

Cifuentes will be hopeful of a response from his side at Leicester City. Wout Faes and Vestergaard are still the favorite two at the back, with Pereira and Thomas on either side.

James could play a deeper role in place of Boubakary Soumare after a disappointing performance from the Frenchman on Saturday. Hamza Choudhury and Oliver Skipp are also options in that role if James is preferred further forward in place of Bobby Decordova-Reid.

Stephy Mavididi thought he had scored his first goal of the season, but it was disallowed for offside. It has been a disappointing campaign for the winger, while Abdul Fatawu has been a leading threat and is expected to keep his place even if young Monga is fit for selection.

Julian Carranza started against Blackburn but a blunt display could see Jordan Ayew introduced in his place.

The match between Leicester City and Middlesbrough starts on Tuesday evening at 7.45 pm.
