President asks for peace while Nepal talks are confronted with problems

Top Maoist under 10 killed in Chhattisgarh fight
- Ten Maoists, including a member of the Central Committee Manoj alias Modem Balakrishna, were killed on Thursday in a collision with security forces in the Garia tire district, Chhattisgarh.
- Manoj had a reward of £ 1 crore on his head. Interior Minister Amit Shah of the Union placed on X that this successful operation was a big blow to the Maoists.
- Superintendent of police Nikhil Rakhecha confirmed the death of Manoj. Ten bodies were found on Thursday at 7:20 pm, while search activities were still underway.

- Reports say that Manoj came to the Maoists in 1983. He was about 65 years old when he died and used many names such as Balanna, Ramacher and Bhaskar.
- Manoj Alias Modem Balakrishna was a member of the central committee of the CPI (Maoist) and responsible for the Western Bureau or Odisha State Committee, which provided Maoist activities in important areas.

- After release, he worked in the Hyderabad region to strengthen Maoist groups. In March 1993, the police caught him again in the Kurnool district and was sent to the prison of Chanchalguda.
- In August 1999 he received conditional bail but then escaped and never returned. Since then he has remained underground and remained secret his Maoist leadership.
- The central committee of the CPI (Maoist) is the most important decision -making body of the group. This year it suffered large losses due to strong security operations in many states.
- Since January, six members of the Central Committee have been killed: four in Chhattisgarh, one in Jharkhand, and one in Andhra Pradesh. This has weakened Maoist leadership.

- Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh almost started ‘Samudra Pradakshina’, the very first sailing trip around the world through a full women’s team of the army, the navy and the air force. The event took place in the Gateway of India in Mumbai.

- The mission has ten female officers of the three services. They will sail nine months on the 50-foot long sailboat of the Indian army, called Triveni, which was built in India.
- The team will travel almost 26,000 nautical miles on an eastern route, cross the equator twice and finish Cape Leeuwin, Cape Horn and Cape of Good Hope, with strength and endurance.
- This circum navigation is the first of its kind in the world. It emphasizes the empowerment of women and the self -reliance of India. The crew is expected to successfully return to Mumbai in May 2026.
