A commander named Michael Pulliam from the 3rd district was placed on paid leave for this accusation in mid -May.

According to Police 1, this commander was placed on leave after “he filed a complaint of equal opportunities against executive assistant chef Andre Wright, according to several sources for law enforcement.”

For the record, he denies the allegations.

The fraternal order of the police has expressed broader concern about accusations of crime data manipulation to descend violent crime.

FOP chairman Pemberton claims that officers are often instructed to downgrade serious crime reports to fewer offenses.

President Trump has proposed federalization to combat serious crime in DC. Crime in DC has become an epidemic.

The trade union claims that this is led by the MPD command staf to keep the crime statistics low.

According to MPD data, “violent crime in DC was reported as 28%compared to the same time last year. By Thursday the figure was mentioned at 25%, with total crime by 8%.”

Pemberton claimed that the figures are misleading. “There is absolutely no way to fall by 28%crime. Last year they suggested that it fell 34%.”

Previously there was an investigation into Pulliam’s wife, Capt. Rachel Pulliam.

Capt Rachel was again assigned to a midnight service. This had happened in April.

MPD Chief Pamela Smith has issued a statement about the allegations stating: “Any irregularity in crime data that is brought to my attention will be tackled immediately,” Smith said. “I do not approve of official reclassification of criminal offenses outside the guidelines set in the MPD policy.”
