Alex de Minaur has activated the cultural amplifier Australia Davis Cup team to a decisive fifth rubber in their qualification 2nd round draw against Belgium.
A day after the fall of the world no.91 Raphael Collignon, the Ken Rosewall Arena of the Minaur, the Arena of Sydney with an exciting 6-2 7-5 victory over Zizou Bergs.
The world no. 8 and six times Grand Slam quarter finalist was a man on a mission, who played three straight service games and Bergs broke twice in the second set to lock the draw at 2-2 in less than 90 minutes.

With the chance to secure only the third Davis Cup triumph of Australia in the history of 2-0, Aleksandar Vukic Jordan Thompson in the Second Reverse Singles match replaces. He plays Collignon for a place in the Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna in November.
