Just a week after his LIV Golf Fireballs teammate Josele Ballester won the Saudi International, Puig achieved a two-shot victory the 2025 Australian PGA Championship.
Spaniard Puig finished on 16 under par at the Royal Queensland Golf Club, two ahead of Ding Wengi, for what was the biggest win of his young career.
Puig turned professional in 2022 and has been part of LIV Golf ever since, first representing Torque GC before becoming part of Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs team.
He has two Asian Tour victories on his resume, having won the 2023 International Series Singapore and the 2024 IRS Prima Malaysian Open.
