For the longest time, Darren Till was seen as a real competition in the Welterweight Division of the UFC. After losing his title fight against Tyron Woodley, many continued to go through whether or not he needed what was needed to match with some of the top stars on 170 pounds. Although he still had a few remarkable moments, a series of losses eventually led to the promotion.

“One evening I ended up in a fight one night out. I and a few friends finally fight with these other guys and whatever. And this man stabbed me twice, dj, rib in me. As the doctor tells me afterwards, you know, it was so much away from my artery, while you know, you know, you are one of the lucky ones.
“But then it was in my mind … The first place I went to after the hospital was the gym to see me coach and see like all UFC hunters there like Terry and Paul Kelly and things like that and I just had a difficult word with me you just behave like an idiot.”
