The UFC president noted Rousey’s current life circumstancesRecognize that she has had three children and is personally in a different place. However, White made a special mention of her physical condition and described her as in excellent condition. He explained:

“Yes, she and I are still very close. We talk, you would say that we probably talk every three months or something, and she was recently in Vegas and she came along the offices. But yes, I don’t know what her plans are. I think she just trains again.

“No, I mean – I mean, she just had three babies and she is, you know, she is in another, eh, you know, place in her life. But I will say this: you know, she just has another baby and she is now in excellent form. I mean, she is freaking, as she always knows.”

Rousey, now 38, gave birth to her second daughter in January 2025, Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha.

The former Olympic bronze medal winner in Judo has Placed several training clips that showed her to work on striking techniques with coach AJ Matthews. In one of her Instagram reports, Rousey thought about her journey of eight weeks after the birth and eight years away from MMA to eight months after the birth and finding her love for the sport again.

These training updates have generated considerable fan speculation about a potential comeback, especially with the UFC White House event planned for June 2026.

Rousey’s UFC career ended in 2016 after back-to-back knockout losing Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. Her last fight lasted only 48 seconds when Nunes stopped her with bumps on UFC 207. The defeat came after an annual interruption after her shocking loss for Holm at UFC 193.

After her MMA pension, Rousey went to professional struggle, where she achieved every success in WWE. She won the Raw Women’s Championship, Smackdown Women’s Championship twice and Women’s Tag Team Championship with Shayna Baszler. Her WWE career ended in 2023 after she publicly criticized the company and withdrew from professional struggle.

Former UFC flight weight champion Demetrious Johnson Recently supported support for a potential Rousey -Comback, which suggests that she could still effectively compete against the current Bantam weight schedule for women. Johnson argued that the division has not evolved considerably than Rousey’s skills, with her only weakness against very athletic opponents who could neutralize her judo background.

Although White’s comments do not suggest immediate plans for Rousey’s return, his recognition of her excellent physical condition and their continuous communication open the door for future possibilities. The UFC president did not start negotiations for fighting on the White House card, which states that these discussions will only start in February 2026.
