Lexington, KY – The US Harness Writers Association (USHWA) annual Dan Patch Awards banquet, presented by Caesars Entertainment, is scheduled for Sunday evening, February 22, at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida. The deadline for making room reservations is FRIDAY, JANUARY 7. 30, and can be made using the USHWA link to the hotel reservation page.
The Dan Patch Awards Banquet annually honors the best and brightest performers, both human and equine, from the previous season. The award winners will be selected by USHWA, with all winners already announced except Pacer of the Year, Trotter of the Year and Horse of the Year, which will be revealed the evening of the banquet.
There will also be a two-hour Diamond Creek Farm outdoor welcome reception on Saturday evening, February 21, with the second half featuring country singer Mitch Rossell, presented by Team Beau Jangles. USHWA will also hold its annual board meeting on Saturday, February 21, and its general membership meeting on the morning of the banquet.
Tickets for the Dan Patch Awards Banquet cost $230. There is also a reduced-price menu option for children 12 and under.
