Pimblett will fight Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title at UFC 324 on January 24. In a pre-fight interview with MMA masterthe British contender was discussing the match when he made an unexpected shot at Hooker.
“People say Justin Gaethje is old and that, boy,” Pimblett said. “He’s two years older than Dan Hooker. Dan Hooker couldn’t get that damn r*pist off his mother.”
It was a bit of a surprising comment from Pimblett. Not just because of its vulgarity, but also because he and Hooker recently crossed paths in Qatar and seemed to be on good terms. It also seems unlikely that they will meet in the Octagon anytime soon, so the comment can’t really be attributed to the promotion battle.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take Hooker long to catch wind of his UFC rival’s comment.
He revealed he believed he was on good terms with Pimblett, based on their meeting in Qatar.

“Nothing was said when we were face to face b*tch,” Hooker wrote on X. “I thought we were friends but you’re not a very good friend are you @PaddyTheBaddy RIP Ricky.”
Hooker then went a step further and warned Pimblett that it is “in sight” if they cross paths again.
“It’s spot on, you fat b*tch,” he wrote a second message.
Dan Hooker last fought in the main event of the UFC card in Qatar. He was dominated to a submission loss by top lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan. He will now face Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 325 on January 31 in Australia.
