Gakpo spoke with LFCTV during the tour of the team in Asia, where the players in Hong Kong Landen this weekend before a match against AC Milan.
Liverpool has a large number of fresh faces in the team next to Frimpong, with record £ 116.5 million signing Florian Wirtz who joins Milos Kerkez at the arrival in Anfield, while Hugo Ekitike is also about to sign for the Reds.
Dutch Ster Gakpo gave his opinion on the national teammate Frimpong and praised his attacking qualities after arrival from Bayer Leverkusen for £ 29.5 million but also his pace on the wings.
“[He will bring] a lot of. I think he has a lot of quality, “said Gakpo about Frimpong.” But I think one of his greatest qualities is that he might already be the fastest player in the team.

“He is an incredible player,” Jones said as he got into the photo. “Probably the fastest in the team, one of the strongest, has the best technology, yes, yes, yes, Cody Gakpo.”

The 26-year-old came to Liverpool from PSV in 2023 and had a real impact on Anfield. He scored 41 times in 128 performances and was a real weapon for the Reds when they won the Premier League title last season.
