O’Sullivan Farms is pleased to announce that Cross Traffic, sire of Eclipse Champion 2YO filly Jaywalk, will attend the 2026 breeding season at the historic Mt. Airy Farm in Millwood, Virginia.
Cross Traffic represents a rare opportunity for Mid-Atlantic breeders to access championship bloodlines while qualifying for lucrative incentives from the Virginia Breeders Fund – a powerful combination of quality and value that has not been available in the Commonwealth for decades.

Named a “Top Value Sire” in his stud fee class by Thoroughbred Daily News in 2024, Cross Traffic dominated as the #1 First Crop Sire in all metrics in 2018, including: Wins, Winners, Black Type Winners (VATs), Black Type Horses (BTHs), Graded Stakes Winners (GSWs) and Grade 1 Winners.
Cross Traffic has produced consistent performers at the highest level:
- JAYWALK ($1,668,500) – Eclipse Champion 2YO Filly, Winner G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies
- FINAL GOAL ($845,388) – G1 winner
- MAPLE LEAF MEL – Undefeated multiple stakes winner, one of the best fillies of 2023 before her untimely death
- HERE MI SONG ($1,166,241) – Top-of-the-range sprinter
- NEECIE MARIE ($1,154,688) – Elite turf artist
- NY TRAFFIC ($1,003,840) – Multiple bet winner
Cross Traffic is the fastest son of Unbridled’s Song at stud, earning a Beyer Speed Figure of 116 in capturing the G1 Whitney Stakes at Saratoga. He comes from several G1-winning sprinters Stop Traffic, who combine speed, class and durability.
“Cross Traffic brings proven class, a strong pedigree and a track record of producing quality, competitive runners,” said John Funkhouser of O’Sullivan Farms. “Virginia has not seen a stallion of his caliber in decades. With encouraging developments in Virginia racing and breeding in recent times, I am excited to reinvigorate Virginia’s stallion program and provide regional breeders with access to a proven elite-level sire.”
Mt. Steeped in Thoroughbred history, Airy Farm is adjacent to the farm where G1 Kentucky Derby candidate Forte was raised and once included fields where the legendary Sir Archie, progenitor of American Thoroughbreds, grew up.
Cross Traffic will pass the 2026 breeding season for $4,000 LFSN.
