Cred has expanded its motor insurance offering by adding Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Tata AIG and United India insurance as new partners on its credit garage platform. The Fintech Company now offers seven insurance providers to its members, including existing partners Acko, Icici Lombard, Zurich Kotak and Digit.
The platform has expired the insurance coverage for more than 10 Lakh vehicles without cover so far. Creds Garage currently manages 1.1 CRORE vehicles and offers services, including Premium comparison, policy extension memories, initiation of digital claims and special caretaker support.
The unique sales proposition of the platform lies in its dynamic price model, which offers better premium rates to members with higher credit scores, which uses creditworthiness as an indicator of responsible behavior.
Dr. Tapan Singhel, MD & CEO of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, emphasized the correlation between good credit scores and responsible driving behavior. Saurabh Maini from Tata AIG emphasized the role of the partnership in reaching technically skilled public, while Lipika Kalra of United India Insurance described the collaboration as a milestone in the company’s digital transformation trip.
Crut serves more than 1.5 crore prosperous Indians and limits access to people with high credit scores. In addition to insurance, Cred Garage offers extensive vehicle management services, including Challan Discovery, Pollution Certificate Renewal, Fastag Services and Vehicle Evaluation.
