Supercoach Craig Bellamy has earned a massive $3.6 million in the aftermath of Melbourne Storm’s devastating NRL Grand Final loss, which could be a clue to where his future lies.
Melbourne Storm NRL’s three-time premiership-winning coach Craig Bellamy has settled on his luxury with the off-plan purchase of an apartment on the south side of the Gold Coast.
Bellamy and wife Wendy have bought an apartment in Coolangatta in the Rockpool Rainbow Bay complex for $3.55 million.
The 2,500 sq ft apartment is located in architect and developer Joe Adsett’s 12-storey apartment building.

Their purchase of the ninth floor took place in late 2021, but the settlement comes at the same time as reports that the Gold Coast Titans could look to him to join their coaching staff at some point in the future. And in the wake of the devastating 2025 NRL Grand Final loss to Brisbane Broncos.
With just 21 apartments, Rockpool has attracted a host of buyers, including The Block interior designer Shelley Craft and her real estate husband Christian Sergiacomi, who bought it on the eighth floor for $3,630,748.

Comedian Celeste Barber and her husband Api Robin spent $3,778,206.
Sydney coast surf-loving real estate agent Jason Boon and wife Melinda bought it for $3,921,489.
The Bellamys have long had a penchant for properties in Coolangatta.
They recently sold their oldest Coolie investment, a one-bedroom apartment at the top of the Calypso Plaza Resort, which cost them just $190,000 in 2002. It raised $675,000.

The couple retains two investments in the District: a two-bedroom apartment that cost $540,000 in 2010, and a house that cost $1.45 million in 2021.
While Bellamy is in a buying mood, 2025 Brisbane Broncos premiership coach Michael Maguire has quickly sold an investment property in Queensland.
Maguire and his wife Joelle, who retain a Maroubra apartment bought as an investment, have cleared out a townhouse in Bracken Ridge in Brisbane’s north.

The four-bedroom townhouse was purchased new in 2020 for $494,000.
The Maguires spent nearly $4 million on a six-bedroom home in Ashgrove late last year, while keeping three investment properties in Brisbane they had amassed since 2018.
They own an investment property in Maroochy River, Sunshine Coast, which was rented out last month for $850 a week.
