Court Slam’s delay in releasing Elgar Parishad, is looking for the apology from the prison officer

The Bombay High Court pronounced his dissatisfaction on Wednesday about his order in which the release of the Elgar Parishad Ramesh Gaichor accused of Interim -Borgtocht that was not followed by the Central Prison of Taloja, which did not release him on 9 September.

Proponents of Mihir Desai and Sanskruti Yagnik, who appear before Gaichor, were looking for an urgent hearing in search of the fact that the data of release was changed because the procedure for his release could not be completed. Desai sought that the dates of Interim -Borgtocht were changed from September 9 and 11 and 16 to 19 September, so that Gaichor could meet his father.

A bank led by Justice as Gadkari on 26 August, had granted a temporary bail from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from September 11 (including both days) to Gaichor to meet his sick father. Before his release on a temporary bail, Gaichor was dedicated to perform a PREST bond in the sum of RS 25,000 together with a cash security of RS 25,000.

This cash security had to be deposited at the chief inspector of the central prison in Taloja. The bank had specified that after compliance with these conditions, the Taloja prison would release Gaichor on or before 9 hours on September 9 from prison.

However, this order was made available by the court on 4 September evening and then there was a long vacation in court and administrative departments were on vacation due to ganpati festivities. So the RS 25,000 cash was deposited by Gaichor by Gaichor on 9 September for the Taloja prison.

The Taloja prison insisted that a “release bond/order” would be obtained from the Sessions Court, a general procedure followed by prisons in Maharashtra.

The bank of Justices such as Gadkari and RR Bhonsale, however, asked if the Supreme Court ordered the release of a certain prisoner, and why there was a need for the release procedure at the Sessions Court to be imposed by the chief inspector. The bank said it was pure high handness of the prison inspector for which action had to be taken against him.

Chief public prosecutor Mankunwar Dshmukh said, however, that this was generally a procedure that followed that even Desai agreed. Dshmukh emphasized that this only happened because of a certain misunderstanding on the part of the superintendent. She said that such problems have also surfaced earlier.

However, when the court stood, Dshmukh said that she would communicate this issue to high prison officials, and the superintendent will give the court a written apology by 11 September. The court then agreed.
