Copper tech plus pain lighting golf gloves
Grade: B
The teacher’s comments: nice cozy fit, good grip. Can be any round glove. Unsure about the effectiveness of the ‘copper-based technology’.

In August, Copper Tech sent two pairs of their copper tech plus gloves, and I have been playing with them now and then.
In the spirit of complete disclosure I normally do not wear gloves while playing. I never felt that I needed them. I have no sweaty palms and I never had trouble holding the club in my fingers. I don’t get blisters, despite playing several times a week. I regularly clean the handles of my clubs and change them regularly.
Still, because I actually have arthritic hands, I was interested in trying to see if the “copper infused technology” and “compression fit” would do everything to improve my comfort.
In contrast to more traditional golf gloves, the Copper Tech Plus fits very well. The compression effect is quite pronounced. Indeed, they do not slip through alone; A little tokkall is required. Without extra space in the numbers or wadding in the palms, they are the most suitable gloves that I have applied for a while.
The benefits of compression for arthritis are generally recognized. The pressure can reduce swelling, pain and stiffness. The copper tech plus gloves work pretty well in this.
On the other hand (not meant to play), I am much less convinced of the “copper” part of this. As far as I know, scientific studies have not demonstrated an advantage for copper bracelets (Cleveland Clinic -article; Arthritis Foundation -article) And I assume that this extends to “copper -infused” products.

A remarkably positive from the gloves is the tasteless silicon pattern that is on the palms of the hand. They really help to secure the club, even with the lightest touch. If you are someone who tends to grab a club too tight, they can encourage you to illuminate.
A lighter grip must also help with arthritic hands.
How tight do you have to hold your clubs? The legendary Sam Snead said he would keep your clubs like you would have a baby bird.
The Copper Tech Plus can certainly help with that.
The gloves have also proved to be sustainable. I have a pair of normal winter gloves with silicon handles on the palms and the silicon started to peel off immediately. I was afraid that the Copper Tech Plus would also be the case, but they kept it up.
The synthetic doctrine and the material at the back have also proved to be sustainable. I have not seen any other that a small discoloration.
Another plus: I thought the compression would make the gloves hot. They are not at all. The fabric on the top keeps the temperature under control.
I will also notice that the large ball marker, which is magnetically attached, has succeeded in staying on the glove. That is a big plus. I hate that small button on ball markings on other gloves.
That said, I recently saw some of these on the hands of a golfer at Washtenaw Golf Club (the appearance of the gloves is quite distinctive). I am not a Robert Kennedy, able to diagnose the medical disorders of people at a glance and remotely, but the man found me as probably too young to make with arthritis.
That reminds me that I am right in my thought that the Copper Tech Plus would also work well as a general golf glove, to replace your titleistic or Callaway brands.
