Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor says that in 2026 he will be opposed to Michael Chandler on the upcoming UFC card of the White House.

McGregor and Chandler, who coached each other on the ultimate hunter, had to fight last year, but the former featherweight and lightweight champion had to withdraw due to an injury.
Now with demonstrably the largest event in the UFC history for them, it seems that UFC CEO Dana White is already placing his chips on McGregor for the main event.
McGregor has not fought anymore since he ran in his trilogy against Dustin Poirier against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
Chandler, who recently recorded three consecutive losses, has not seen any victory in the Octagon since May 2022.
